Ladies Ministry
The main goal of the CAC Ladies Ministry is to be a support to this
assembly, all CAC ministries and our community. We provide
opportunities for individual spiritual growth through our Monday Night Ladies Prayer
Meeting, annual retreats, conferences, workshops and seminars. Annual
fundraisers include a Holiday Gift Wrap at various local businesses,
yard sales and we are planning other fundraisers as well. Our desire is to
offer spiritual help to one another. We believe in the power of prayer
and outreach. We have Daughter’s of Zion focused prayer meetings on
the first Monday night of each month, along with regularly scheduled Monday
Night Ladies Prayer. We promote the unity among the saints of CAC. We
have adopted the motto "Go MAD (Make A Difference)" and believe that we
all can do just that!
Youth Ministry
The C.A.C Youth Ministry’s main goal and purpose is to
reach out, encourage, and help spiritually strengthen
the youth in our church and in our community. We are
excited about our Friday night “Game Night” that we started
in September. This is a time for the youth to
fellowship and have some good clean fun! We believe God
is going to continue to bless our youth, and use them to
help reach the souls of our community.
Mighty Men Ministry
The mission of the Mighty Men Ministry is to develop closer relationships
among the brethren of this local assembly, to develop our leadership
skills, to mentor and nurture the younger men, to offer assistance and
support to the needs of the CAC church members, to help maintain the
church building, to act as a conduit for outreach and visitation, and to
promote a spiritual church that is sensitive to the Holy Ghost. We also
want to be of service to the senior saints and widows. The main purpose of
our ministry is to connect men to God, to their families, to church and to
one another. CAC offers a Mighty Men Brunch at 9:00 a.m. on the second
Saturday of every month, where fellowship is combined with prayer and
devotion. The men plan to have annual fishing and camping trips, attend
Men’s conferences, and raise money for church and community needs. We
believe that all men should have the opportunity to grow spiritually and
personally.
Sunday School Ministry
Sunday School is the result of Jesus telling us to "Go ye therefore, and
teach..."
(Matthew 28:19). This ministry is a simple outreach to our community.
Sunday School is a vital part of the church ministries by providing a
place to teach spiritual knowledge, growth and to encourage worship as a
means of expression.
Sunday School gives us the opportunity to actively participate in learning
the Word of God, and how it applies to our lives. The goal is to effect
changes in the understandings, attitudes, and behaviors as Christian
character and faith are being built. The final test of all teaching is in
the changed life of the learner. The Sunday School Ministry continually
reaches out to introduce others to Bible truths.
